Long Time, No Update!

It sure has been a while since my last update!  I guess I have really gotten overwhelmed since Brian left.  Since then, Keira is doing so much more and talking more everyday.  She loves to read her books and even has a couple of them memorized so she flips through them and shouts out little phrases!  We had some professional pictures taken in honor of Fathers Day (for Brian of course!) by my friend Melissa who is a great photographer here in Ventura!  Her website is http://www.melissadanielsphotography.com/ and I highly recommend her!  Here are a few of the images! 

Fun at 3am! (or not so much...)

Last night, or should I say "this morning", Keira decided to have a party from about 1:30 am until about 4:30 am. Here are some photos of our late-night extravaganza of pretzel goldfish, playing in a laundry basket, and attempting to put on my underwear while rocking in her rocking chair. Yes, all of this around 3am while you were enjoying your cozy bed!

Keira Hits Sea World San Diego!

This past weekend Daddy took us to Sea World San Diego for our Easter present! Keira got to pet all kinds of sea animals like dolphins, bat rays, starfish, and even fed flamingos! We had lots of fun watching shows, but of course, Shamu was Keira's favorite of the day! Our favorite exhibit was the Arctic where we saw Beluga whales, walruses, and polar bears!

About a year and a half ago, our lives changed dramatically overnight. Suddenly, we weren't getting any sleep, our trash cans were overflowing with dirty diapers, and this little girl with big blue eyes and blonde hair was running the show! Much to our surprise, NONE of that has changed! (except now she's a little taller, thinner, and her hair is a getting curly!) Hopefully by reading this, you will be able to share the same laughter and (sometimes) frustrations of parenthood with us! So hold on tight, and watch for lots of cute, silly, and possibly even messy pictures!
